watsonx Workshop Analytics & Insights Dashboard

The watsonx Workhop Analytics & Insights Dashboard provides a centralized view of how watsonx Workshop is used, giving a clear view of sellers activity and how it compares across the platform at a glance.

Structured around the left-hand navigation panel, the dashboard focuses on the Adoption section and its supporting views. Together, these views create a clear path from a high-level snapshot of platform activity to more targeted perspectives across Job Role, Geography, and Market, giving you added context into how activity is evolving and how different areas are engaging over time.

Interface Overview

On the Home page, the dashboard provides a snapshot of overall platform activity through key metrics, including:

  • All Workshop Users: This row represents all users (both sellers and non sellers) that are interacting with watsonx Workshop.
  • Total Workshop Users: Total unique users registered on watsonx Workshop, across all roles and geographies.
  • Active Users (Last 12 Months): Unique users who have interacted with at least one agent session within the last 12 months.
  • Total Agent Sessions: Total number of agent sessions started across all users and roles in the last 12 months.
  • Percentage of Users Who Are Sellers: Percentage of all registered Workshop users who are active IBM sellers.

A dedicated seller view builds on this foundation, offering a more focused perspective with metrics such as:

  • Sellers Only: The data in this row represents the metrics for people who report into Global Sales
  • Total Workshop Sellers: Total number of registered watsonx Workshop users who are IBM sellers.
  • Active Sellers (Last 12 Months): IBM sellers who have nteracted with at least one agent session within the last 12 months.
  • Seller Agent Sessions: Total number of distinct agent sessions started by IBM sellers in the last 12 months.

The Daily/Weekly/Monthly Active Users highlights how sellers engage with agents over time, offering Daily, Weekly, and Monthly views. This enables teams to quickly assess whether engagement is growing, remaining stable, or declining.

Overall, the dashboard provides a clear view of how watsonx Workshop is used across day-to-day activities, showing how it is being used and how it fits into the way work gets done.

Adoption

The Adoption section in the left-hand Navigation panel allows you to drill down into the data with filters for time periods, job roles, geographies, markets and more. It includes Overall Engagement for a consolidated snapshot of activity and progress toward adoption goals, a Leaderboard to compare seller sign-in rates across segments, and Agent Usage to explore how sellers are engaging with agents, tools, and topics. Explore each view to see how usage varies and how different areas of the platform are being used in practice:

  • Overall Engagement: Combines All Workshop Users, Sellers Only, Trends, and Adoption Rate vs Target into a single view. It provides the ability to filter down to subsets of sellers and also show reports by geo, market, job role or segment.

  • Leaderboard: Shows the percentage of sellers who have signed into watsonx Workshop, with views by Role, GEO, Market, or Organization. Click Active Last 7 Days to shift from overall onboarding to a view of recent activity, highlighting which groups are actively engaging with the platform right now.
Dashboard Leaderboard
  • Agent Usage: Focuses on how sellers are engaging with agents. It can be filtered by Geo, Market, Segment, Organization, Job Role and People. It also surfaces Agent & Tool Usage and Topics & Context, providing a clear view of how sessions are used and where activity is focused.

Start by navigating to AdoptionAgent Usage and apply filters such as GEO, Market, Segment, People, or Organization to focus on the audience that matters most. From there, explore Agent Usage alongside Topics and Context to build a clear view of how sessions are being used.

This view provides a clear sense of where time is spent across agents, tools, and topics. With that understanding, it becomes easier to focus on what is working well, notice areas that may be overlooked, and refine day-to-day approaches.

Want to see how adoption is taking shape across your organization?

Head to AdoptionOverall Engagement to get a snapshot of high-level trends. Then switch to Leaderboard and select Active Last 7 Days to compare activity across different seller roles using the segmented view.

This helps you get a sense of how others in similar roles are showing up, while giving you a simple way to gauge your own consistency. From there, you can adjust your approach as needed and stay on track with how others are making the most of the platform.

Navigate to AdoptionLeaderboard and segment by GEO and Market to compare usage patterns across regions. Layer this with overall engagement trends to build a more complete perspective.

This gives you a clear view of where momentum is building across regions and where things are quieter, so you can see how your region compares and stay ahead of the curve.
