At the center of the watsonx Workshop experience is the Chat, your AI guide that supports learning, strategy, and content creation in one continuous flow. The agent helps answer questions, clarify complex concepts, and guide you through real sales scenarios, from objection handling to deal strategy. It adapts to your session goals and context, allowing you to explore ideas, test messaging, and generate content without breaking your momentum.

To the right of the agent, the Studio offers immersive tools that support both structured learning and hands-on practice. Features like the Interactive Podcast, Client Role Play, and Practice Gym allow you to rehearse conversations, sharpen messaging, and prepare for real-world interactions. These tools are designed for asynchronous learning, giving you the flexibility to build confidence on your own time and at your own pace.

You can do this by navigating to the Context option in the session interface, where you can upload files to enrich the session context. How It Works

watsonx Workshop is built around sessions, giving you a focused, flexible workspace to learn, prepare, and practice. Each session acts as its own dedicated environment where context, content, and outputs are kept together. You can create as many sessions as you need, switch between them at any time, and return to your work exactly where you left off.

• Creating a Session: Start by creating a new session and selecting a agent based on your goal, such as learning a technology, building pipeline, working on a deal, or exploring a topic. You’ll then define session context by selecting relevant products and industries, which helps tailor insights, use cases, and value messaging throughout the experience.
• Work with the Chat: Once your session is created, the Chat becomes your primary workspace. You can ask questions naturally to explore products, industries, deal strategy, or competitive positioning. The agent maintains context across the session, allowing each interaction to build on the last, and references trusted sources when applicable. You can also upload documents using Context to ground responses in your own materials, such as RFPs, presentations, or research.
• Use the Studio: The Studio provides hands-on tools for active learning and practice. In your session, you can reinforce understanding, test knowledge, and prepare for real-world interactions using immersive, AI-powered experiences.
• Learn with Interactive Podcasts: Generate AI-powered podcasts tailored to your session context. Podcasts can be paused, extended with questions, downloaded for on-the-go listening, or reviewed via transcripts, making learning flexible and multimodal.
• Practice with the Practice Gym and Client Role Play: Use the Practice Gym to test product and industry knowledge through AI-led Q&A with immediate feedback. Use Client Role Play to rehearse realistic sales conversations, such as cold calls or discovery discussions, and receive structured feedback to refine your approach. All practice history is saved within your session for review and iteration.
• Keep Work Organized and Shareable: All content generated within a session is automatically saved. Sessions can be shared with teammates using a secure link, enabling collaboration while keeping individual chat history private.
